Boswellia Carterii Resin Extract Frankincense resin is the natural sap from the Boswellia carterii tree. ย Traditionally used as incense. How to use: Light 1 x Charcoal tablet (sold separately), ย place on a heat resistance surface and sprinkle resin on top. ย The heat of the charcoal will melt the resin and release an aromatic incense / smoke add more resin as desired. Charcoal tablets will burn for up to 20 minutes. Frankincense can also be add directly to an allocated oil burner. ย Add 40 grams, fill with water and light candle, ย top up with water as the water evaporates. ย The same resin can be used daily for up to 6 months provided the water is topped up. This method provides a "caramelised" frankincense scent. Resin varies from clumps to fine powder when sold.
